Drone video and Photography

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of drone do you use?

I fly with the Mavic 2 Pro drone from DJI.

DJI has proven they are #1 with sales and with the quality and reliability of their products.

Photos with the Mavic 2 Pro are 20 megapixels and video is 4K.

Do you film in HD? What about 4K?

Yes. All of my videos are filmed in HD.

Can I film in 4K?   Absolutely.

I can film in any resolution from 144p To 4K, whatever you prefer.

How do payments work?

We accept major credit cards, Pay pal, and

e-transfers all online, so it is super easy and secure.

Payment is due when project is completed.

For weddings, at the time of booking we will take a deposit, and full payment will be due when the project is completed.

All invoices are emailed directly to you so keeping track of your receipts is easy as well.

What type of music do you use?

I pay for all the music I use and so you get great quality sounding music.

I also do not rush and use the same song for each project (some people do just that) I take the time to find the exact song that matches your project so that it looks and sounds  the absolute best.

How long does a project take?

The biggest obstacle I have is the weather. I can fly in hot and cold weather. I can not fly when it's snowing, raining, or too windy. So weather is a huge factor.  With that being said, usually when I get the call from you to completion of project is 5 to 7 days.

Which areas do you service?

I am based out of Crossfield, Alberta which is located just north of Calgary, Alberta.

Calgary and it's surrounding communities such as Airdrie, Okotoks, and Chestemere Lake have the travel costs included in the prices listed on the website.

Any project that is beyond a distance of 25 kilometers of Calgary will be charged $.50 cents per kilometer.

Example: Calgary to Red Deer is 125 km. 125 Km minus 25 km included travel = 100 Kms.

100 Kms  x $.50  =  $50.00.

So a travel fee of $50.00 will be added to the project you choose if it is in Red Deer Alberta.

What about cancellations?

A project can be canceled upon the following situations...

If the drone pilot finds that it is not safe to fly the day of the appointment (example, weather etc.) the appointment will be rebooked for another time.

If you cancel 24 hours before the appointed time there will be no charge. (We get it, stuff happens.)

A fee of $50 will be charged if the appointment is canceled by you less than 24 hours before the appointed time of the project.

Is your pricing clear?

Yes, my prices are clear and up front and all costs will be discussed and agreed upon before hand so that there are no surprises for anyone.
